Tai Chi classes in Chichester

In order to obtain a good idea of what Tai chi can do for you we recommend enroling on a ten week course. We run regular beginner, intermediate and advanced Tai Chi courses. If you would like to sign up for a course then call or email us and we will put your name on the list. Payment is taken at the first class. If you would like to join a course after it has started or just want to drop in give Sam a ring for more info.


Tai Chi for Beginners

This ten week course is for those who are new to Tai Chi or have a little previous experience. During this course we will learn and practice the 15 move Chen Style short form along with warm-ups, light stretching and simple exercises. Students who complete this course can then go on to additional beginners or intermediate classes the following term. All ages and abilities are welcome, though if you have any particular health issues contact Sam for a chat prior to the start of the course.

 

Ten tuesdays from 7th September, 6 - 7pm at Lavant Memorial Hall, Pook Lane, Lavant, PO18 0AH

Ten Wednesdays from 8th September, 6.15 - 7.15pm at The Newell Center, Tozer Way, Chichester

Course fee: £60


Tai Chi - continuation

 

This course is for those who have already completed one or more of our courses and those who have some previous experience of another style of Tai Chi. During this course we will learn, practise and refine the 15 move Chen Style short form, long form and simple silk-reeling exercises. The focus will be upon the key principles of Chen style Tai Chi such as relaxed, whole-body movement and 'chan si gong' silk-reeling. Students who complete this course can then go on to further intermediate classes the following term.

 

Ten Thursdays from September 9th, 6:30 to 7:30pm in the Dojo at New Park Community Centre,

 New Park Road, Chichester. Course Fee £60

Tai Chi in the Park

On saturday mornings from 8:30 to 10am we run a drop in class for all abilities in the beautiful surroundings of the Bishops Palace Gardens just next to Chichester Cathedral. Practising Tai Chi in the open air is a wonderful experience that has to be sampled. The park is quiet and peacefull with many rare trees, shrubs an plants. Click here for more info....
